About the data
Comparing two iPhones on Apple's own page means reading dozens of rows that are identical. This tool keeps only the rows that change, and tells you whether each change is a gain or something you give up.
Where the numbers come from
Specs for all 37 models come from Apple's Tech Specs pages and Newsroom announcements. Last checked 2026-10-10.
- Memory (RAM) is an estimate. Apple does not publish it, so the figures come from independent teardowns and reports.
- Battery means Apple's video playback rating. Real-world battery life depends on how you use the phone.
- Where Apple sells eSIM-only and physical-SIM versions, battery and weight are for the eSIM-only model.
- "Not confirmed" means Apple has not published that detail yet. It gets filled in once it does.
How gains and losses are decided
A feature appearing counts as a gain, and a feature disappearing counts as a loss. Newer is not always better: the lower-priced e models drop features like the Ultra Wide camera, so they can show losses even against older phones. Size and weight are shown as plain differences, since bigger or lighter is a matter of taste.
